Helloooo, new decade! :D First entry of the year! Well, actually I've been writing a lot of private entries lately - about crazy things that no one wants to read about like strange dreams and such - so I feel like I've been active. But who am I kidding? XD
I also redid my profile, my layout, and switched out a lot of my icons. (I meant to change them all but I couldn't let go of some! ;n;) A fresh start is good! And I love that I can change the little banner whenever I like, without having to recode and such. Yes, because I am lazy. :(

But I really wanted to let everyone know I'm alive, before I go off and die, kind of thing. |D If you want to know what I've been up to lately.. well. Time to use bullets again!

Also: I was so good at being prompt about this last year, but this year totally slipped my mind. Christmas cards! Who's up for some January greetings? Rofll. I think I'll make a proper post for that later. XD

I cleaned out my e-mail recently, which means I went through hundreds of LJ comment & message notifications, and just had to type up an entry. You guys should have seen me, gushing over memories: new and old, wibbling like an idiot. Things like, "D'aww, I remember that." Even if it was just several months ago, it feels that long. The little things I forgot about - other than all of those account expiration e-mails (lol). And just. :( I miss it. I miss having long threads with you all about nothing and everything. And it's definitely my fault for not being around. I know I'm busy and we're all busy with things so it's harder, but! Even if I'm working on the thousands of homework assignments, I always have my Gmail open. I wouldn't mind an e-mail, actually I'd more than encourage a random e-mail from you guys. &hearts Let's catch up?
Forgive my sentimentality, you all? ;o; I miss and love you all so much. And thank you.

Social life, where have you gone?

- Whoo, Chemistry test over! *o*;; Three more exams to go before Fall Break! *fistpumps* I will not remind myself that I'm studying over the break too. Nope.
- Even my tags have started to get repetitive, lol. My life is sad.
- Sorry I keep complaining about school 'cause I'm sure no one wants to hear about on livejournal tooo. XD
- GANTZ MOVIE. Just this morning, as I was walking to my school's student center, I was thinking about how Nino needs to do an action role. He needs to run around and do things, maybe yell at people and shoot things and gain invisible levels -- my mind was wandering a lot as you can probably tell. But really I was thinking I'd be happy with anything action-y. THEY READ MY MIND. I just hope it'll be toned down, less on the gore/sex. (I'm not sure if I could stomach all of that, eugh.) I mean, fans of the manga must like the story too, right? (Stupid question, I know.)
- Oh yeah. I've determined that Nino is an abnormally clean person. His hands are at least. If he was a normal person, zits would be having a fiesta on his face considering how he touches his face all the time. But his magical face is mostly pimple-free and it's frustrating. Bottom line is: he is the party pooper of all acneland.
I do come out of my torturous abyss of Chem & Physics homework sometimes (lol) and I was at Target when the Halloween goods were out. I'm sure I was moping about how there weren't any backpacks on sale that were neither cheap enough nor large enough, but that's not the point! In the Halloween aisle, there was a man and his toddler-age son and it was the cutest thing ever. The man was over by the motion-sensored bowls with those hands that would slam down once a kid grabs for candy and this happens:
Man: C'mere, put your hand in the bowl.
Son: [watching from 8 feet away and obviously very wary]
Son:
Son: No.
Man: Here, look. [puts hand partially in bowl] See, nothing's gonna happen!
Son: [hesitantly scoots closer to do it]
Son: [triggers the plastic hand and starts yelling/crying]
Man: [picks him up while dying of laughter]
I am so doing that to my future kids. :3

I don't know what happened, but my classes have taken over my life for the past month. In particular, Chemistry and Physics. ;__; So I'm just gonna hide in Photoshop -- prolong studying for my Psychology exam -- and go to a place far from centripetal forces and equilibrium shifts. - Went to play tennis again at a local park and found out the courts have been vandalized with graffiti! So I'd try to read them between games; in the middle of the court, "MANIAK" was written. Then as per normal, I'd think, Ah, they can't spell. Then there are the usual nonsensical graffiti and a couple of initials here and there, and one that said, "SK" ...
- School is quite.. normal? I can't even think of anything interesting to say about it. XD I think the class I'll be most looking forward to is Gen Psych. In the other classes, I already feel behind despite having just started. (Yes, even in Japanese. D:)
- I am doing such a great job avoiding All the Best! scans. XD
- The new version of Firefox isn't compatible with my transparent-y layout! ..So I re-downloaded the old one, lol.

Speaking of layouts, new layout for me! In the midst of sulking about my entry for the layout contest, I decided to work on my own. XD (No, really, if you see a rather lame-looking layout, don't vote for it. It's probably mine. By the time I noticed everything I did to it made it worse, it was too late. LOL.) I think it's been over a year since I've changed it? It only looks right with the LJ navigation bar, but other than that I think the time spent on it was worth it. :D More Ninos! Do I ever change?

A small update!

I think I just pulled a gluteus maximus playing tennis the other day, if that's possible. It aches. And it's kind of awkwardly just one side. XD
Gosh, how I wish it was Christmas in July. All I'm getting is Clean-'til-you-drop July. D: My grandma is visiting soon and she's never visited before. We're always the ones making the traveling plans to visit her in CA. And she'll be sleeping in my room (while I get.. wait, where am I going to sleep?). I've been contemplating whether or not I should move my calendar in case she gets curious, but I think I'll just leave it. |D

Got my computer back~ And of course, it was empty. So since then I've been installing and downloading, and still. XD But anyway it's summer! And I have time to properly update! Hah!

A couple of weekends ago, my family left to California to go to a wedding that wasn't. XDD So we had fun instead (not that weddings aren't fun but you know). Thus on the plane rides to there -- there's always a connection flight D: -- my sister and I were being our normal selves.
Me: You know how there's always a big debate over which one tastes better: Pepsi or Coke?
Sis: Yeah?
Me: You know what our (family's) answer would be?
Sis: What--
Me: Whichever one's on sale.
Both: [cracking up]
(Have I mentioned our family's stingy? We're very frugal. I could write a whole entry on how my dad saves money and dub it "The Chronicles." Actually, I think I will one day.)
Me: *slides up window shade*
Sis: Man, we always sit by the wing.
Me: I like wings.
Sis: Chicken wings?
Me: And I like breasts too.
Sis: おっぱい？
Me: おっぱい。
Both: おっぱいバレー！
Both: [dying]
Me or Sis: (randomly) I feel the G's!!
Went to The Aquarium of the Pacific and it was amazing. I love fish. &hearts Especially jellyfish. (Somewhere, Arashi no Mae no Shizukesa is taunting me.)

This is how it feels to be pc-less.

Time for my monthly updaaate! XD 'k.
A week ago my desktop pc absolutely refused to start up. Tried System Restoring it several times but alas, it still gave me this black screen of um, blank-ness. That's when I knew, I've abused it for far too long. It's at my dad's tech-y friend's house right now, and I'm hoping he can at least get it to work. I need something to use, right? XD If that doesn't work, I'll be getting a new one.
I'm a little sad, and a little glad. I've lost everything: graphics beginning from ages ago (2003-ish, rofl. I like to reminisce, okay?), essays from school, miscellaneous photos, scans (I have yet to think about how I'm going to re-download those again), etc. I'm surprised it could still run as it did with all the junk I kept on it. XDD It was slow and laggy with all that crap bogging it down, so now I'll be able to start anew~ When I get it back, that is. Haha.
I can only check things when my sister's not on her laptop or when I can sneak on the school's computers. Pretending that livejournal-ing is school-related; that's right yo.
On another note! My semester's almost over; I've got two more finals and an essay to write this week and I'm done. Yaay.
I miss LJ. D:

(Sorry if I'm late, but) WHAT ARE THE ODDS?
And then I was on edge just waiting for Ryousuke (Toma) to mention the deceased's name just once. Just once! *cries* Alas, he wouldn't oblige just that. Daiki said it a thousand times, Aki and Hanei and even Teppei say "Naruse-san" at least once. ASGDLGHH;K Anyway, adored this drama. I spent most of my time watching it crying, "Why such good people?!" ;o; And laughing about Toma getting these roles with terrible father-son relationships.

Also. I just cried after watching the first episode of a drama with a title that implies quite the opposite of a gesture. Damn you, Smile, for doing this to me. JUNNIE.
The first season of The Quiz Show was incredibly intense. Did anyone else see it; especially those last two episodes? Intense. Looking forward to season two!

Wow, I really need to stop this 'disappearing for long periods of time' thing. ;; Can I summarize a month in bullets? I-I'll try.
- Totally been battling it out onOhno Chrono Trigger on the DS. So much fun. I have such fond memories of this game, since it was the very first RPG I've ever beaten. And dangit, I picked up the girl's pendant before I asked if she was all right. IT WAS SHINY OK. *guilty*
- Akai Ito DVD box set comes out on my birthday! [/random] The drama had an abrupt, but very cute ending. &hearts My love for that series is so strong.
- Got my hair cut! It's not as short as Shinonome Mei's yet not as long as Takemiya Mei's. XD Speaking of which: there's also another Mei in Love Shuffle. Could it be? The popular name of the season? Haha. Pictures later!
- Calendar came in! I've actually hung the wall calendar on my wall; not really sure if I want to tear out the pages yet. Hm. Here's to hoping Sho's tush doesn't fall on my face while I sle-- on second thought.
- One of these days, I fear I'm going to accidentally forget to put my phone on silent and Aiba's "DON'T TOUCH ME!!" will ring in class. I can sense it.
- Local video rental store was having a closeout thanks to these $1 Red Boxes, so my dad and I went crazy and bought tons of used DVDs and games. XD 'Cause I mean: Dirge of Cerberus, Wild ARMS 5, Disgaea 2 ..GUYS. I get to watch my sister get scared of shooting soldiers, while I shout, "SHOOT 'EM IN THE HEAD." Ahaha.
Ugh, man. I really am taking advantage of there not being a deadline on these requests huh. Hmm, I guess it will be a surprise when I do get 'em finished? :D? (Ah, I'm really not a writer though -- a fast one anyway. In what time it took for my English class to write a full page, I wrote one paragraph. >>;)
But anyway, will toughen it out the rest of this week with essays and exams so I can have a lovely Spring Break next week. I hope. XD

XD 'Cause I mean: Dirge of Cerberus, Wild ARMS 5, Disgaea 2 ..GUYS. I get to watch my sister get scared of shooting soldiers, while I shout, "SHOOT 'EM IN THE HEAD." Ahaha.
Ugh, man. I really am taking advantage of there not being a deadline on these requests huh. Hmm, I guess it will be a surprise when I do get 'em finished? :D? (Ah, I'm really not a writer though -- a fast one anyway. In what time it took for my English class to write a full page, I wrote one paragraph. >>;)
But anyway, will toughen it out the rest of this week with essays and exams so I can have a lovely Spring Break next week. I hope. XD

My sister likes to emphasize "Cookie Arrow" every time she hears Truth. Try to guess which part that is. XD
Which reminds me! Over the weekend, my phone rang while I was at Gamestop. XD It took me a while to get to it so Truth kept playing aloud. Then one of the employees (who happened to be Asian) snapped his head around once he heard it and it was hilarious. LOL. It really makes me wonder if he reacted to the sound of japanese music or truth. I like to think it's the latter.
And then in a department store, some girl was playing at the piano and my sister told me I would be able to play better. XD "You should play 'Kanashimi Cookie Arrow.'" I was dying. Just imagining that song being played right by the escalators.. with the rich ladies browsing through the make-up and purse area. HAHA. I do play that song more than I should though.
As you can see, this song will never die. XD
We're doing another skit in Japanese class and this time it's supposed to be a variation of the story of Momotarou. Who knows what crack we'll come up with this time! XDD ももたろうさん、ももたろうさん~♪
